A. Clair Harvey of Benton died peacefully at his home on December 11.

He was born November 22, 1932, in Benton. Mr. Harvey and his wife had just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on September 26.

Mr. Harvey's early work years were spent with the Benton Dairy. Then 20 years were spent with the Philadelphia Dairy and 27 years as a milk sanitarian and rating officer for the U.S. Dept. of Health. He retired in 1996. He assisted with Kapp's Auctions.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending his time with the Bee Cellar Hunting Club, the Fishing Creek Sportsmen's Association, the Bloomsburg Elks, and the Benton Kiwanis.
